Ferny Grove Tavern

Located adjacent to the Ferny Grove Rail Station this new tavern sits at the crossroads between the end of the rail line, and access to suburbs West of Brisbane making it a very popular venue. The Tavern was designed to appeal to a broad range of clientele with a focus on providing a relaxed, comfortable yet modern and trendy ambience.

The light, spacious interior employs varying volume to define function, coupled with an interiors scheme that is sophisticated and sleek yet tactile and approachable. In recognition of its physical relationship with the rail line, strong exposed structural and massing elements were utilised in the form of the building, softened by landscaping that was employed on both the ground and vertical surfaces, creating a striking aesthetic.
